Spray Patching Pothole Project

The scope of work for this project shall consist of patching potholes and patches using spray patching technology in the roads indicated within this bid document. Spray patching technology uses four steps to achieve durable, permanent, pothole repair: 1) Clean – use high volume low pressure air (with mechanical methods as necessary) to clean the patch of debris, 2) Tack – prep the patch with a coating of emulsion, 3) Fill – inject emulsion coated aggregate and fill pothole, and 4) Compact – achieve density on the patch and open to traffic. The Contractor shall use quality material for both the aggregate and emulsion
