Description | The Town of Holly Springs, North Carolina (the Town) is soliciting submittals from interested Construction Management at Risk (CMR) firms to provide pre-construction and construction services for the new Operations Campus. The town is seeking a CMR firm with experience in construction of similar projects and the process under NCGS 143-128.1 and other relevant statutes. The proposed campus site is located off of Green Oaks Parkway, on a +/- 30 acres wooded lot (Pin # 0649206441). It is bordered on the east by the Town of Holly Springs Wastewater Treatment Facility, located at 150 Treatment Plant Road, on the north by undeveloped commercial properties, and on the south by Utley Creek. The north and west property lines run parallel to a 20 Duke Energy Access easement (see Exhibit 'A'). The overall Operations Campus project consists of the construction of a new administration building, operations building and warehouse, fleet maintenance building, fueling station, citizens convenience center for yard waste, vehicle storage, truck canopy, storage, and laydown areas, etc. The project will be phased based on cost and may also include renovations (interior upfitting and associated site work) to the Town's existing public works facility, located at 101 Thomas Mills Road, Holly Springs NC 27540. At this time, the Town is authorized to move forward with the work associated with Phase 1 only, as defined in the RFQ. The Town reserves the right to solicit additional statements of qualifications for the future phases. Phase I consists of the construction of a new administration building, operations warehouse, vehicle storage and laydown area, citizens convenient center, truck canopy and associated site work. See Exhibit 'A' for overall site plan. Buildings and structures labeled as future are not included in Phase I. Phase I has an anticipated construction budget of $25 million (or as the budget allows). |
