Renovation at Riverside Historical Buildings for Harris County Precinct 1

The proposed project consists of renovating the exterior and interior of (3) three buildings which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. The Riverside Historic Buildings consists of: 1. Main Hospital Building (13,614 GSF) 2. Nursing School (5,748 GSF) 3. Utility Building (1,410 GSF). The project is located in and around the vicinity of 3204 Ennis Street, Houston, Texas. Riverside project site consists of a 4.3 acre with (3) three historical registered buildings located in the heart of Houston’s predominant black Third ward. Riverside general hospital, originally named the Houston Negro Hospital was built in 1926 and holds a significant place in the history of Houston’s black community as well as the medical community.
