Sampling, Lab Analysis, and Monitoring of Landfills

Wells vents and residential crawl spaces will be sampled for methane gas. Storm water samples will be collected by staff in containers provided by vendor and shipped for analysis. Field and laboratory testing will be performed on all samples as necessary. Data evaluations, including an independent data quality review and comparisons to permit requirements will be required. Statistical analysis will be performed on the groundwater data for the Enoree and Twin Chimneys Landfills. Remediation system maintenance will be performed for the cascade aeration system at Blackberry Valley Landfill as needed. All results with conclusions and recommendations will be transmitted to Greenville County and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) as directed by Greenville County.
