Description

1. Auburn University Rural Studio requires bids for the fabrication and delivery of “ready to assemble” Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) for 2 experimental test units 2. Auburn Rural Studio has provided Conceptual design drawings (attached) showing panel shape, critical dimensions and locations of main structural load paths. 3. Insulation value of all SIPs panels must equate to a U value of 0.1. Neopor would be the suggested core for panels 4. This insulation value provided must be provided by a panel that is 12” thick 5. 1/2” OSB is required for the interior & exterior sheathing of the panels 6. The test units should be designed to IBC with a design wind load of 89mph. 7. The units will sit on, and be connected to the ground with an existing pre-designed structure (by others) that is illustrated in the Auburn Rural Studio conceptual design drawings
