Pool Maintenance

Pepper Geddings Pool: Weekly maintenance to include: 1. Inspection of liquid bleach feeder, acid feeder, UV system, two (2) Laars Lite natural gas pool heaters, 20-hp Purex pool motor 2. Clean and/or replace UV bulbs as needed 3. Perform water analysis and report conditions to aquatics director or designee Quarterly maintenance to include: 1. Liquid bleach feeder – Clean and flush tubing a chlorine injector 2. Acid feeder – Clean and flush tubing and injector Annual maintenance to include: 1. Liquid bleach feeder – Replace all roller tubing 2. Acid feeder – Replace all roller tubing 3. Laars Lite natural gas pool heaters – Inspect venting system for blockage/leakage/corrosion, inspect electrical controls/high pressure limits/pressure switch/temperature control/automatic gas valve, inspect external surfaces of heat exchanger tubes for black carbon buildup, remove any soot that has collected on tubes and correct the cause, check for loose or broken wires and terminal connections 4. 20-hp Purex pool motor – Inspect for worn seals Mary C. Canty Pool : Weekly maintenance to include: 1. Inspection of liquid bleach feeder, muriatic acid feeder, UV system, Stantrol electronic chemical controller/feeder, RayPak natural gas pool heaters, two (2) 3-hp Challenger pool motors 2. Clean and/or replace UV bulbs as needed 3. Perform water analysis and report conditions to aquatics director or designee Quarterly maintenance to include: 1. Liquid bleach feeder – Clean and flush tubing and chlorine injector 2. Muriatic acid feeder – Clean and flush tubing and injector Semi-Annual maintenance to include: 1. Stantrol electronic chemical controller/feeder – Clean probes Annual maintenance to include: 1. Liquid bleach feeder – Replace all roller tubing 2. Muriatic acid feeder – Replace all roller tubing 3. Stantrol electronic chemical controller/feeder – Calibrate unit 4. RayPack natural gas pool heater – Inspect electrical controls/high pressure limits/pressure switch/temperature control/automatic gas valve, inspect external surfaces of heat exchanger tubes for black carbon buildup, remove any soot that has collected on tubes and correct the cause, check for loose or broken wires and terminal connections 5. Challenger pool motors – Inspect for worn seals
