Pump Station Improvements Project for Greenwood, Benbrook and Bryson Pump Stations

The GBB Project will provide structural improvements and pump upgrades as part of a Corrective Action Plan. Greenwood Pump Station (PS) will include an equalization tank, sewer extension from Benbrook, and a force main extension to bypass Benbrook PS. Benbrook PS will be decommissioned as part of this Project. Additionally, pump upgrades will occur at Bryson PS. All facilities are owned and operated by the Authority. The GBB Project is located in Butler Township between Greenwood Drive and along South Benbrook Road up to Bryson Road. The Authority is securing funding for multiple projects inclusive of the GBB Project and monthly sewer rates are anticipated to increase by $2.50 to $4.00 per residential connection, subject to actual borrowing amounts and interest rates.
