Newnans Lake 21/22 Timber Sale

This sale is a 113 acre harvest from Newnans Lake State Forest in Alachua County, Florida. Stand A is a clearcut of 29 acres of natural slash and loblolly pine with scattered hardwoods. Timber to be removed from Stand A includes all merchantable pine and hardwood. Stand B is a thinning of 84 acres of planted and natural slash, loblolly, and longleaf pine with scattered hardwoods. Timber to be removed from Stand B includes all unmarked merchantable pine and hardwood. Trees marked with orange paint are to be left uncut and undamaged. Sale boundaries are marked with yellow paint and include roads, fire lines, and wetlands. The estimated volumes to be removed includes 4,768 tons of pine pulpwood, 866 tons of pine chip-n-saw, 1,878 tons of pine sawtimber, and 1,154 tons of hardwood pulpwood
