Sky Harbor Business Park - Village Of Northbrook

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Northbrook, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway. The concrete streets in the Sky Harbor Business Park have been surveyed and an estimated number of concrete panels have been identified for replacement. Deferring replacement of these deteriorated panels will result in more advanced degradation of roadway, including pavement failures and increased reconstruction and rehabilitation costs in the future. Because the Sky Harbor Business Park has both concrete and asphalt streets, not all streets will be replaced simultaneously. For concrete street projects, the Village assumes an annual 3% cost adjustment based on historical price increases. A map of the area to be reconstructed and rehabilitated in FY 2024/2025 is on the next page. As of June 27, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
