Description

Work included: 1.5" - 2" Mill/Overlay: City Wide. The work will be done under one contract and the proposal shall generally include the following: 1. Notifying Parking Enforcement Department of temporary parking restrictions. 2. Setup, Maintenance and removal of all temporary traffic control devices necessary to protect the workers. 3. Mill existing pavement to the limit and thickness designated in the field by the E.I.C. Typical average milled thickness is 1-3/4" and it will vary per location determined by the E.I.C. 4. Cleanup and removal of all debris and millings. 5. Installation of temporary striplings on the the milled surface as directed by E.I.C. 6. Additional cleaning prior to applying tack coat and/or asphalt concrete shall be determined by the E.I.C and payment shall be made under item 04.325. 7. Asphalt concrete resurfacing of all milled surfaces including compaction. Typical paved thickness 1-3/4" and it will vary per location determined by the E.I.C. 8. Apply tack coat to the entire roadway surface or at joint only as described in the paving details and as ordered by the E.I.C
