Ventura 20/21 Timber Sale

This sale is 42 acres of clearcut and 58 acres of leave tree marked thinning from Goethe State Forest in Levy County, Florida. Timber to be removed from the clearcut areas includes all merchantable pine timber. Timber to be removed from the thinning area includes all unmarked pine timber. Marked timber is not to be harvested or damaged. Sale boundaries are roads or marked with yellow paint. The estimated volume to be removed includes approximately 3,555 tons of pulpwood and 675 tons of chip-n-saw and better. This will be a twelve (12) month contract. The successful bidder will be required to purchase and deliver 150 tons of lime-rock road base to a stock pile location identified on the map within one month after the start of harvesting. The delivery of this material in no way negates the purchaser’s responsibility under paragraph FF of the contract regarding road repair related to damage from harvesting operations.
