Pre-Solicitation Notice for Solicitation 36C24223B0012; Project # 630A4-14-440 Renovate Outpatient Pharmacy as required in scope of work, drawings, and specifications, located at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System St. Albans Campus, 179-00 Linden Blvd., St. Albans, NY 11412-1468. Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified VetBiz SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) contractors. Scope of Work: Full scope to be included in solicitation The project includes the renovation of St. Albans Outpatient Pharmacy, Pharmacy Storage room, Bathroom, Pharmacy Office, Med Vault and closets. The exiting space is approximately 2300 square feet, located on the ground floor of building 89 of VA Medical Center, St Albans Campus, Jamaica. Work includes, but is not limited to, the general construction, alterations, demolition, asbestos abatement, architectural upgrades, mechanical and electrical work, fire protection, plumbing, millwork, finishes, necessary removal and disposal of existing equipment. All work is to be performed per specifications and construction drawings. Base Bid and Alternates: To be provided Estimated construction cost range is $2,000,000.00 -$5,000,000.00 General Construction - NAICS: 236220, size standard: $39.5 million. The offeror shall obtain all necessary licenses or permits required to perform this work in the State of New York to include abatement if required in accordance with New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) Title 15, Chapter 1 and New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) Industrial Code Rule 56 (12 NYCRR Part 56)., the VAMC specification and applicable federal regulations. Prospective contractors must be registered and certified online with http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov; (lack of certification will be considered non-responsive) and must be registered at http://www.sam.gov in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 to be eligible for award. There will be a site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the site visit will be included in the solicitation document.
