Description | **As of September 18, 2023 the project was awarded to Reliant Heating and Air Conditioning Service LLC. but the awarded amount was not disclose.** Number 0000325492 Question Deadline 07/28/2023 at 2:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes Anticipate beginning work April 1, 2024 BACKGROUND The City of Wheat Ridge is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to remove (6) existing Mechanical units and replace it with (6) new Engineered Air units as designed and specified in this request for proposal. The property, located at 4005 Kipling St. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, is an existing muti-story occupied recreation center. The building was originally constructed in 2001 and the current units are the original equipment. SCOPE OF WORK The actual services to be performed will be determined by the City, to include--but not limited to--the following areas: Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the scope of work described herein. o Mobilize and maintain safe access to the facilities throughout the entire project. o Project Scope to be performed on or about the 1st of April 2024. o Removal of (6) existing mechanical units and responsible disposal by contractor. o Installation of (6) new units by contractor. o All work to meet or exceed building code standards, local and international, published by the City of Wheat Ridge. o Replacement units are designed to fit on existing curbs, but contractor will be responsible for repair of roofing and flashing at curb upon installation. o All electric, plumbing, ductwork, and energy management work to be done by contractor. o Replacement units are designed to work with existing ducting, however, any pipe or ductwork to be completed by contractor. Any insulation removed during install to be replaced by contractor. o Price to include labor and materials to complete job by contractor. o The contractor will be responsible for testing and certifying that all equipment is operational per manufacturer |
