K.All bidders should note that this project does not require prevailing wages. A.Northwest Education Services, Traverse City, Michigan will receive proposals from qualified contractors for the Secure Entry and Building Improvements project, located at 1101 Red Drive, Traverse City, MI 49684. Clarify how many contracts the Owner wants and the benefits and drawbacks of each. Generally Owners will want a single contract to eliminate any gaps in construction, however, by having separate contracts the Owner has more flexibility in the Mechanical and Electrical Contractors as they can reject a contractor more easily than if already determined by General. B.The Owner will enter into one contract with the successful General Contractor, who will be fully responsible for coordination of all required work between all trades. Coordinate all information regarding the bid opening location explicitly with Owne |
