Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Engineering and Maintenance Services

This is not a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), and no contract will result from this notice, nor does it commit the government to any acquisition for these services. All interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities package (please limit to no more than 10 pages total) outlining your company's key business abilities relevant to the performance of this requirement (reference Draft PWS) and addressing the questions found in Attachment 1. (a) This requirement for Backup Power for Communication Systems Support in Southwest Asia (SWA) has been developed in response to requests by 9AF (AFCENT) and United States Army Central Command (USARCENT) to ensure Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance C5ISR communication systems are available to forward deployed forces supporting continuing mission requirements of the Department of Defense (DoD). This effort will provide mission critical backup power systems engineering and sustainment to military personnel and coalition forces, primarily in the USCENTCOM AOR. (b) 9AF (AFCENT)/A6’s objectives are to: (a) install & sustain Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems on identified/assigned equipment, (b) have measures and personnel ready to respond to emergency UPS failures, (c) and receive engineering support for current & future UPS systems. (c) This requirement is mission-essential. Refer to DODI 3020.37.
