Well No. 6 Site Improvements and Raw Water Main

The Project includes the following Work: • Approximately 3,550 LF of new 8-inch raw water main. Portions of the main are by open cut and portions of it are by Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). Refer to the plans and the bid form for details. • A connection of the new raw water main to the existing plant piping as shown on the plans. • Additional site clearing and grading at the well site as shown on the plans. • New well enclosure as shown and specified. • Well head piping, valves, fittings and accessories. • New well controls and equipment rack as required to place the well into operation. • Erosion and Sedimentation control. • New site fencing at the well site as shown. • Well head piping testing and chlorination, and electrical load testing. • Provision of power other than that provided by the utility owner. • If ADD Alternate #1 is accepted, provision of a standby power generator • Automatic transfer switch is included whether the add alternate is accepted or not. • System Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) as specified.
