Description | The TOWN OF EVANS invites bids for ASBESTOS ABATEMENT & DEMOLITION, and Work for the demolition of multiple residential units located at various areas in the Town of Evans that include the following addresses: 8800 Southwestern Boulevard, 170 West Sterling Avenue, 172 West Sterling Avenue, 9687 Erie Road, 9813 Erie Road, 8291 Erie Road, 170 Delavan Avenue, 566 Monroe Avenue, 7254 Erie Road, 1441 Sturgeon Point Road, 7018 Woodcliff Drive, 395 Herr Road, 497 Roanoke Avenue, 197 Pleasant Avenue and 9625 Ivanhoe Avenue all with addresses in Angola, NY 14006, except 1441 Sturgeon Point Road in Derby, NY 14047. Questions regarding this project are to be emailed to Tony Fischione at TFischione@townofevans.org no less than 4 business days prior to receipt of bids allowing time for responses prior to the receipt of bids. The Town of Evans hereby reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the Town of Evans. Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the Owner's sales tax exemption, the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. In addition, the Bidding Documents for this project contain detailed requirements for the qualification of Bidders. These include, among other things, rigid bonding and insurance requirements, financial statements, bank references, lists of lawsuits, arbitrations or other proceedings in which the Bidder has been named as a party, a statement of surety's intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds, and a description of other projects of similar size and scope completed by the Bidder. Bidders are required to comply with New York State prevailing wage rates and supplemental requirements on this Project |
