Renovation of the Berks Latino Workforce Development

As of July 12, 2023 the project has not been awarded yet. Berks Latino Workforce Development Corporation reserves the right to accept any bid or bid item, or to reject any or all bids or bid items. There is no sitework required for this project. - The renovations to the existing three (3) story building will consist of the following major components: o Select demolition of elements of the building. o New flooring throughout over existing vinyl asbestos containing tile. o New storm sash with operable sections features. o Renovations to existing windows. o New wall / ceiling finishes. o Renovations to existing restrooms. o Inclusion of additional restrooms. o Conversion of classrooms to offices. o New acoustical tile suspended ceilings in Bathrooms and Classrooms (in Basement). o New LED lighting. o Additional power circuity. o New HVAC units in Basement. o New Restroom plumbing and new fixtures. Plumbing systems shall be fed from existing on-site sanitary and domestic water systems. - The following systems will be provided by BLWDC; interior/exterior security, emergency alert, audio-visual, computer technology, CCTV and furniture. - The Project will be bid prevailing wage.
