Description | As of April 17, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The County of Hancock, Maine invites sealed bid proposals for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work in connection with the "Reconstruct Caruso Drive, Reconstruct Short Term Parking Lot, Rehabilitate Apron Area" project at the Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport. A certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the bid price will be required from each bidder. Prospective bidders are hereby notified of the following federal contract requirements: Buy American preference per 49 USC 50101, Executive Order 14005, and BABA; Foreign Trade Restriction Clause per 49 USC 50104 and 49 CFR part 30; Debarment and Suspension per 2 CFR part 180 (Subpart C), 2 CFR part 1200, and DOT Order 4200.5; Drug-free Workplace per 49 CFR Part 32; Conditions of employment and minimum wage rates per the State of Maine and the Federal Government including Davis-Bacon requirements as defined in 2 CFR 200 Appendix II(D); Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 per 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4; Non-Segregated Facilities per 41 CFR part 60; Affirmative Action per 41 CFR part 60-4 and EO 11246; and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. This contract has a DBE participation goal of 6.23%. All Bidders are responsible for reviewing the full bid package and all requirements to ensure they understand all Federal, State, and Local requirements for this contract.
