Camelback Bridge Repair and Painting

The project is located on Virginia Avenue, beginning approximately 130 feet East of the intersection with Hillcrest Street, and extending 120 feet eastward, including Camelback Bridge (existing Structure No. 057-7821) which carries Virginia Ave over Constitution Trail. The project consists of removing and replacing all cross-bracing rods and turnbuckles at piers, retrofitting the top of all pier columns to shed water, removing and replacing concrete encasement at Piers No. 3 and 4 to extend the top of concrete above grade, replacing the missing expansion joint filler in retaining walls, cleaning and painting existing painted structural streel, metal railing, and new structural steel, and all necessary incidental work as shown on the plans or as described herein.
