Description | Project is to renovate first floor of Building 100; renovation to include, but not limited to, new HVAC, lights, and ceiling. Bidders submitting bids equal to or greater than $25,000 in value are required to be licensed in accordance with state law. A statement of public contract crime status and minority business status is required on the Bid Form. Additionally, the Drug Free Workplace Affidavit and a five percent (5%) bid security is required. Non-discrimination policy applies to this project. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject bids A. Demolish first floor HVAC and lights for building 100. B. Contractor to protect existing utilities including IT conduit and wiring as part of work. C. Contractor to protect existing wall and floor finishes as part of work D. Replace 1st floor HVAC system with new VRF system. E. Replace 1st floor lighting in areas of work. F. Replace 1st floor ceiling and grid in areas of work G. Work will require new roof mounted equipment and work on 2nd floor to carry roof mounted utilities to the first floor. H. Prior to beginning work, contractor shall create a detailed CPM type schedule for owner and designer review. Schedule shall: 1. Identify all major activities including Test and Balance and Commissioning. 2. Provide a sequence for all activities. 3. Completion time for each activity. 4. Identify the critical path or the longest path to complete all activities. I. Project Substantial Completion shall include Test and Balance and HVAC Controls. Project will not be considered substantially complete if these items are not complete. |
