Plans call for the construction of three, five-story, apartment buildings with a total of 230 units. The addresses assigned to the project are 14200, 14220, and 14230 Metcalf Avenue. Building A will have 82,658 square-feet of space with 56 units. Building B will have 141,844 square-feet of space and with 99 units. Building C will have 114,568 square-feet of space and with 75 units. As of June 12, 2023, this project is in design development with the architect and was approved by the Overland Park Planning Commission on March 14, 2022; however, is currently on hold pending owner review. It will be reviewed by the Planning Commission on June 12, 2023 for an additional 18 month extension of the final development plan approval. No building permit applications have been submitted for this yet. An architect has been selected. A general contractor has not been selected. A construction timeline has not yet been decided.
