Professional Services for Bayshore Drive Redevelopment

Qualified and experienced planning, engineering or landscape architect firms to design and permit a boardwalk on a 17+/- acre parcel owned by the CRA located within the Bayshore Gateway Triangle Community Redevelopment Area (BGTCRA). The proposal must identify architectural, environmental, civil, electrical, plumbing, structural and landscape architecture for the complete design and required permits. The CRA purchased the 17.89-acre site in 2006 with the intent to create an artist village and park. The site was rezoned to the Cultural Arts Village at Bayshore Mixed-Unit Planned Development in 2012. The CRA solicited proposals to sell the site in 2017 however, the negotiations for the sale of the property were terminated in 2018. A community-wide survey was held in 2018 and the results indicated that the community ranked “park or green space” as number one. It has been further articulated that the first priority is to create a connection to Sugden Park.
