Description | For Willow Park Restroom Improvements Electronic Contract Documents comprised of plans, specifications and bidding forms are available from Phillips | Sekanick Architects at no cost. Hardcopy Contract Documents comprised of plans, specifications and bidding forms can be purchased from Phillips | Sekanick Architects, 142 E. Market St., Warren, OH 44481 Checks are to be made payable to Phillips | Sekanick Architects. Contact Michele Schwartz by email michele@phillips-sekanick.com or phone 234.830.2040 to receive electronic or hardcopies. Each proposal shall contain the full name and address of the party or parties making the proposal and all persons interested therein, and shall be accompanied by either a Proposal Bond signed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid, or by a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit revocable only by the City of Cortland equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured by a performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract in accordance with the provisions of Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. No proposal will be entertained unless made on the Contract Documents obtained from the architect and with an attached bond document. Attention is called to the fact that the successful bidder will be required to conform to all provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act of the State of Ohio, Ohio Revised Code Sections 4115.04 and 4115.05. Attention is also called to the fact that a non-collusion affidavit must be signed by the bidder and that the successful bidder must sign a statement concerning Personal Property Taxes in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 5719.042. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregulars in the bid received, and to accept any proposal deemed most favorable to the City at the time and under the conditions stipulated. Award will be made to the "lowest and best bidder" in accordance with the provisions of the Award of Contract . No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of opening bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. |
