El Paso HQ Office - Accessibility Improvements

Scope of Work: 1. See Contract Drawings for complete understanding of demolition and construction scope. This list is generic in nature for major items and intended only to give an overview of general project scope. 2. All installations are to meet or exceed ADA requirements for entrances and exits. 3. All installations shall have hardware compatible and function with exiting security installation 4. Remove existing storefront assembly and replace with new storefront assembly. Include all related hardware. 5. Replace existing closers, hinges, strikes, panic bars and related hardware on all exterior doors. 6. Remove existing mag lock devices on all doors. 7. Repair any openings that become exposed with removed hardware. 8. Verify with manufacturer’s caulking recommendations for aluminum storefront- allow window systems to weep. Do not block weep holes. 9. Caulk continuous around the perimeter of the openings of interior and exterior 10. Provide backer rod and sealant between junctions of dissimilar metals. 11. Install all electrical, mechanical, and communications penetrations through the exterior envelope 12. Tint all exterior glass to match adjacent glass or install new tint. 13. Install new vinyl signage on exterior glass. 14. Provide turnkey project as indicated on the drawings and as required for complete project. ADD ALTERNATE 1. Remove exiting water fountains. 2. Replace with ADA compliant water fountains with bottle fill/ 3. Provide needed plumbing, electrical, and construction requirements to install. 4. In areas that does have ADA compliant walkways, install skirting under water fountain.
