| Description | Remove 15" of common borrow and must be constructed with a gravel base consisting ofa sub-base course no less than twelve (12) inches in thickness and a surface course of no less than three (3) inches. The gravel must meet the specifications in most current Maine Department ofTransportation Standard Specification Highway and Bridges manual in sub sections 304.3 through 304. The road will be a minimum of20 feet wide and 399 feet long. This road will maintain a 14" per foot roadway crown. There will be an addition 33 feet X 44 feet section at the end ofthe road that will be constructed and must meet the above specifications The contractor will be responsible to provide necessary equipment to remove and replace existing soil at a compact to 95% density rate. | ||||||
