Description

The work includes the following: 1. Lift station pump replacement and electrical upgrades. 2. Drain tile and manhole addition to equalization basins. 3. Meter vault and electrical upgrades to equalization basin. 4. Electrical upgrades to treatment facility. 5. Blower replacement. 6. Construct new biosolids thickening building. 7. Construct new biosolids storage tank. 8. Construct new office and garage. 9. Construct new septage receiving station. Together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. A public hearing will be held by the Clear Lake Sanitary District on the proposed contract documents (plans, specifications, and form of contract) and estimated cost for the improvement at its meeting at 5:30 p.m. on December 20, 2022, at Clear Lake Sanitary District, 5631 235th Street, Clear Lake, IA 50428. At said hearing, the BOARD OF TRUSTEES will consider the plans, specifications, proposed form of contract, and estimated total cost for the project, the same now being on file in the office of the District Administrator, reference to which is made for a more detailed and complete description of the proposed improvements, and at said time and place the said BOARD OF TRUSTEES will also receive and consider any objections to said plans, specifications, estimate of cost, and form of contract made by any interested party. Clear Lake Sanitary District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Estimated Range $8,000,000-$9,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
