Description | Your company is invited to submit an offer to the Owner for the South Haven & Mendel Center Campus Painting. Invited Contractors are welcome to distribute documents as necessary. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all submissions without explanation, either in whole or in part; to waive informalities and/or to negotiate separately in any matter whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the Owner to be in its best interest. It is the intention of the Owner that the construction of this project will start no later than seven (7) working days following award of Contract or Letter of Intent to award contract. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided, fully filled out along with all supplements unless directed otherwise. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. The Bidder shall submit the following Supplements as part of the bid submission: The Contractor shall pay sales, consumer, use and similar taxes for the work provided by the Contractor which are legally enacted when bids are received or negotiations concluded, whether or not yet effective or merely scheduled to go into effect. A. Bids that are unsigned, improperly signed or sealed, conditional, illegible, obscure, contain arithmetical errors, erasures, alterations, or irregularities of any kind, may at the discretion of the Owner, be declared unacceptable. B. Bid Forms, Appendices, and enclosures which are improperly prepared may, at the discretion of Owner, be declared unacceptable. Bidders are encouraged to utilize the services of minority and women owned subcontractors and suppliers where possible in the pursuance of this project. Before the start of construction, a pre-construction meeting shall be held. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to arrange said meeting as soon as notification of award has been made by the College, Coordinate location of the meeting with the LMC Project Manager. Once the work is started, it shall proceed to completion without delay. |
