Service End : 6/30/2024 Service Start : 4/28/2023 Estimated Construction Cost: $585,000.00 The project work involves repairing the roofing at Centennial Correctional Facility - Tower A. The major work items are described as follows. Repair Roofing - Centennial Correctional Facility Tower A Demolition: At the areas indicated on the Roof Plan, remove the existing EPDM roofing in 6" strips 8' on center. Leave the existing insulation in place. Install a new cover board layer of 1/2 " OSB sheathing over the existing foam insulation. Secure cover board with low rise foam adhesive. Install an adhered white 60 mil EPDM fire rated membrane over the top of the cover board. Install new cured and uncured EPDM flashings. Provide new sheet metal flashings and counterflashings. Provide a written 10-year warranty covering the new roofing material and labor in a leak free state at a no-dollar limit. Also provide a two-year roofing contractors warranty covering the new roof in a watertight state. Compliance with all Security Requirements Mobilization and Setup Existing Roofing & Roofing Accessory Demolition & Removal of Debris Installation of the New Roofing System Installation of Roofing Related Sheet Metal Flashings & Counterflashings Delivery of the Required Warranties Project Demobilization & Cleanup Project Closeout A bid security of not less than 5% of the bid price is required when the price is estimated to be $50,000 or more. The security shall be a bond by a surety company, the equivalent in cash, or otherwise supplied in a form satisfactory for the State.
