Water Main Renewal Extensions and Improvements 2021

Water Main Renewal Extensions & Improvements 2021, between Alphonse Street (North Street to Carter Street), East Avenue (Chestnut Street to Pitkin Street), Grand Avenue (Greeley Street to Culver Road) and Villa Street (Sterling Street to Delmar Street). The work's scope consists of installing up to 3560 feet of Ductile Iron and PVCO water main on the streets mentioned above and installing new polyethylene water services and new fire hydrants. The existing water mains to be abandoned will be abandoned in place or removed where the water main is required to be installed in the existing trench. The project includes pavement and surface repairs/restoration necessitated by the water main and water service improvements. The pavement restoration includes some pavement milling and resurfacing as part of the overall pavement restoration.
