Pine School Road, South Middleton Township Bridge Replacement (SM-2) and Bridge Repair (SM-1)

AS of August 8, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. In general, the Contract involves excavation/removal of the existing bridge/culvert, purchase and install new bridge/culvert per provide specifications and drawings, paving, guide rail installation and pavements markings. The SM-1 Bridge repair project consists of under deck repairs and removal and replacement of existing guiderail to meet current standards (2020 Bridge Inspection Report is available electronically). Bids will be based on a lump sum bid. The Contract will be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
