Hoag / Laventure Intersection Improvements Project

Work includes construction of an eight-phase traffic signal sys-tem, sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm drainage pipe and struc-tures, pavement rehabilitation., transit stops, utility coordina-tion, temporary traffic control, landscape restoration, and other required site work. Work lim-its generally extend within 400 feet from the Hoag/Laventure Intersection. Bid proposals must be pre-pared and submitted in accor-dance with Section 1-02 of the Project Specifications, and must be accompanied by a bid deposit or bid bond in the minimum amount of 5% of the proposal total. Work is anticipated to be begin by May 2023, with a duration of 60 working days. The City of Mount Vernon reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals, revise or cancel the work, complete the work by other means, or to postpone the bid award by up to thirty (30) days after bid opening. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
