Description | Project estimated value is 8million INTRODUCTION 1.1 Contractor shall complete the agreed upon construction at the: 1.1.1 Allegan County Courthouse located at 113 Chestnut Street, Allegan, MI 49010. 1.1.2 Allegan County Service Building located at 3283 122nd Avenue, Allegan, MI, 49010. 1.2 The County has retained and authorized Wightman ("Architect") to inspect and approve work done by Contractor. 1.3 The Scope of Work is divided into the following three main phases (some or all of which may be awarded) as detailed in the plans and specifications developed by the Architect and included in Attachment C: 1.3.1 Phase I - Courthouse Addition - Contractor must deliver a Certificate of Substantial Completion for this Phase by 11/30/2024 and deliver a Certificate of Occupancy to the County by 12/27/2024. 1.3.2 Phase II - County Services Building Renovation (includes 2 alternates) 1.3.3 Phase III - Courthouse Renovation (includes 4 alternates) Point of Contact for Construction Scheduling and Inquiries All work is to be scheduled at least five business days in advance and coordinated through: Carl Chapman Director of Facilities Management (269) 673-0207 cchapman@allegancounty.org Contractor Inquiries - due by 3:00 p.m. on October 10th, 2023. Should Contractor find any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts within the RFP packet, be in doubt about their meaning, or have any questions about the RFP process or the scope of work, they should bring such questions in writing to the attention of: Kristin VanAtter - Project Management Specialist Allegan County - County Services Building 3283 122nd Ave Allegan, MI 49010 projects@allegancounty.org County Response to Inquiries - posted by 5:00 p.m. on October 13th, 2023. The County will compile and review all questions received from contractors and post responses to the County website as an RFP Clarification or Addendum. Clarifications modifying the Agreement or Scope of Work will be incorporated into the final Agreement. The County will not be responsible for any oral instructions. |
