The Preble County Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any irregularities in bidding; and to enter into a contract(s) with the bidder or bidders who in their consideration offered the lowest and best bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of either a cashier's check, or certified check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order ofthe Preble County Commissioners in the sum of $500.00, or by a bid bond acknowledged by the bidder, as principal, and by a surety company qualified to do business in the State of Ohio and satisfactory to the owner as surety. The bid security shall be enclosed in the sealed envelope containing the bid. Agreement included in bid packet is for informational purposes only. If bid is accepted, contractor will be expected to sign enclosed agreement. The Preble County Commissioners' Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Engineer's Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
