Construction Management Services for Bus Rapid Transit System

Qualified consultants, specialists, and professionals to provide Construction Management services for the Bus Rapid Transit. Throughout the final design of the project, the CM will be expected to perform the following tasks: • Conduct constructability and value engineering at various design milestone as requested by the City. Design reviews shall include, but are not limited to, drainage design, roadway design, ADA compliance, traffic signal design and technical specification reviews. All aspects of the review shall rely on City of Madison DPW standards and/or WisDOT standards where applicable. • Ensure that the Design Team consistently coordinates at interface points between the various deliverables, design disciplines and contract packages. • Attend design review meeting with outside agencies, particularly with FTA. • Prepare independent cost estimates for the design plans at the 60% and 95% design milestones. Cost estimates to include all aspects of construction, including General Conditions and Maintenance of Traffic. Cost estimates to be done using a bottom-up approach, similar to how most contractors will bid. • Provide comments and feedback to the City and the Design Team in a timely manner. Comments shall be tracked via Bluebeam Revu software whenever feasible.
