Ben Wilson Street - Airline Road to US Business 59

The work includes hot mix asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveways, ADA compliant sidewalks and pedestrian facilities, water distribution, wastewater collection, and storm water drainage improvements. Additional work items included with the project are traffic and pedestrian signalization, pavement markings, signage, traffic control and sequencing, and coordination with franchise utility owners and City Departments on existing utilities. The work includes urban design improvements to include gateway signage, landscaping, irrigation, IT improvements, street lighting, electical conduit, street furniture and construction of a 50’ clock tower with two (2) LED reader boards, lighting, and architectural finishes. It includes the mill and overlay of approximately 1,000’ of Ben Wilson Street from Red River Street to US Business 59.
