Description | ***As of June 11, 2021 project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Work under this contract includes abatement and demolition of three privately-owned buildings (310 Main Street; 12 Bodwell Road; and 27 Jencks Street) and one Town-owned building (23 Cambridge Drive) in the Town of East Hartford. The four buildings are subject to Alternative Work Plan with limited abatement. The Work also includes other appurtenant work such as backfill following foundation removal, topsoil and turf establishment. The foundation and slab at 310 Main Street will remain in place. The successful bidder will also be responsible for making application for Alternative Work Plan with the CT Department of Public Health. Bid security in the form of a 5% bid bond, payable to the Town of East Hartford, is required of all bidders and a 100% Performance Bond will be required of the awarded bidder. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of all bids, to waive any informality, and reserves all other rights as detailed in the Contract Documents when such action is in the best interest of the Town.
