Description

As of April 17, 2023, a firm has been selected for the master plan. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Port St Lucie Parks & Recreation Department is seeking to obtain a Design Professional to create a Master Plan that has been envisioned for areas in the Torino area located in the northern section of the Torino Neighborhood on property spanning 131.58 acres south of NW North Torino Parkway, west of the NW East Torino Parkway, north of W Blanton Boulevard and three parcels spanning 17.46 acres on the southeast corner of NW West Torino Parkway and W Blanton Boulevard. This design would also include two parcels of land located at the intersection of NW East Torino Parkway and NW Allyse Drive consisting of 46.13 acres. Combined project area to be designed is 195.17 acres. The selected professional will, through the public engagement process, design up to three versions of a conceptual master plan to activate the local area to become a premier destination location for the community. Designs would incorporate the City's Parks and Recreation Department (PSLPRD) 10-Year Master Plan facility and programming needs assessment, the City's High Performance Public Space (HPPS) initiatives and the City's Strategic Plan Goal and Objectives throughout the design process, all referenced in the attachments to this eRFP. As a CAPRA Accredited agency, the PSLPRD ranks themselves as one of the best Parks and Recreation organizations in the nation. In an ongoing effort to provide staff and our community with the highest level of service, PSLPRD expects consulting and/or contracting partners to be able to demonstrate the ability to provide like services and use of best practices while performing their duties and tasks as they relate to the City of PSL and the P&R department projects.
