The Little Blue Valley Sewer Dis-trict will accept separate sealed bids from qualified persons or firms interested in providing the following Concentrator Discharge Piping Replacement for the Little Blue Valley Sewer DistrictLittle Blue Valley Sewer District Tammy Prater 21208 East Old Atherton Road Independence, Missouri 64058 The District intends to secure services to remove and replace the concentrator discharge piping and appurtenances as shown in the attached drawings and de-scribed herein. Piping arrange-ment shall match existing. Pipe, valves, and flow meters shall be as described herein. The Work is located in the Process Building Press Floor at the Atherton Wastewater Treatment Plant, 21208 E Old Atherton Road. Independence. Missouri 64058. The specifications are attached hereto and made a part hereof. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank moneyorder The Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price . Bonds shall be provided by a good and sufficient surety, licensed to do business in Missouri and listed on the Department of Treasury's 570 circular. The Performance Bond shall remain in effect until the end of the Correction Period. Attorneys - in - Fact who sign Bonds shall attach a certified copy of their Power of Attorney and conduct business in the State. Bonds not objected to by District shall be recorded upon the proper records prior to the Date of Commencement of the Contract Time.
