Description

To remove the existing deteriorated 5 ft wide sidewalk along the frontage of Summit School (opposite the Upper Nyack Elementary School) from Perry Lane to the Old Stone Meeting House, a distance of approx. 575 l.f. The new sidewalk will be 4 ft wide with appr In addition, to improve safety and provide better parking on the east side of the street, the Village proposes to widen the existing asphalt pavement by 2'-6" and install a new concrete curb. Pavement markings (crosswalks, lane striping, parking striping will be installed as well. The work in this section (approx.. 1315 l.f.) consists of sidewalk panel replacement, routing and filling of cracks, grinding sections at differential settlement areas and installation of drop curbs and tactile indicators at street intersections.
