Description

Maintenance service of approximately 2,600 fire hydrants within the noted section of the City of Waco. This is approximately one-fifth (1/5) of the City’s inventory of fire hydrants. The service is to include exercising the fire hydrants, conducting pressure tests, greasing the various hydrant parts, and conducting minor hydrant repairs. In addition, the contractor shall immediately report nonworking or irregularly operating fire hydrants and hydrant valves to the City of Waco. At this point, said fire hydrants shall be evaluated for repair or replacement and said fire hydrant shall be repaired or replaced according to the City of Waco’s instructions.
