| Description | Install BCS provided LED high-bay Energy Solutions International (ESI) retrofit kits (T5-»LED) or line voltage LEDlescent lamps (T8->LED) replacing existing fluorescent T5 and T8 fixture components in BCS facilities. Installation: A. Installation for elementary, middle, and intermediate schools will be performed after normal working hours of building employees (3pm or thereafter). Installation for high schools will be performed in the spring and summer of 2019 during regular daytime hours unless otherwise noted (exception will be mid-March through mid-June). B. Provide detailed mounting instructions with kits and new fixtures C. Install kits level, plumb, and square with existing fixtures unless otherwise indicated. Repair, re-tether, or add tethers to fixtures as needed to ensure the prior requirements D. Install kits in each luminaire requiring kit and install new fixture to replace existing fixtures where indicated. E. Install new fixtures per manufacturers instruction, NEC 410.36 G. Where occupancy sensors are currently in place, replace and repair as needed H. Clean all areas of installation daily such that space can be used for intended purpose the next day I. Contractor will be responsible for disposing of all unused material, packing cartons etc., and will not use BCS trash or recycle dumpsters. | ||
