The Work for the Contract is generally described as follows: Contract No. 1.1 - General Construction with HDPE Open Cut Install: Construction generally consists of furnishing and installing all site work including installation of the following approximate quantities: 2,500 feet 2.0-inch IPS DR11 HDPE, 600 feet 6.0-inch, 9,000 feet 8.0-inch, 150 feet 12.0-inch DIPS DR11 HDPE water pipeline; 1,150 feet 2.0-inch, 6.0-inch, and 8.0-inch poly bores; one (1) 12.0-inch Cased POLY bore; four (4) PVC frost proof residential meter setters with 1.0-inch curb stops; twenty-three (23) 2.0-inch, 6.0-inch, and 8.0-inch gate valves; three (3) air release valves with PVC pits and curb stops; eleven (11) 6.0-inch fire hydrant assemblies; 2 prefabricated meter vaults; four (4) tie-ins to existing; thirty-three (33) 6.0-inch, 8.0-inch and 12.0-inch 11.25, 22.5, 45, and 90 degree Bends; twenty-two (22) reducers, crosses, and tees; tracer wire; excavation; backfill; engineered fill; compaction and pressure testing; disinfection, and all associated valves, fittings, and appurtenances; signage; gravel bedding; restoration and seeding. Alternate 1 to Contract No. 1.1 - General Construction with HDPE Open Cut Install: Construction generally consists of furnishing and installing all site work including installation of the following approximate quantities: 5,000 feet 8.0-inch DIPS DR11 HDPE water pipeline; 200 feet 8.0-inch poly bores; four (4) 8.0-inch gate valves; one (1) air release valves with PVC pits and curb stops; one (1) 1.0-inch flush blow-off valve; five (5) Gas/Oil/Salt Line verifications; 1 prefabricated meter vault; two (2) tie-ins to existing; four (4) 8.0-inch 22.5 and 90 degree bends; tracer wire; excavation; backfill; engineered fill; compaction and pressure testing; disinfection, and all associated valves, fittings, and appurtenances; signage; gravel bedding; restoration and seeding. Alternate 1 to Contract No. 1.2 - General Construction with PVC Open Cut Install: Construction generally consists of furnishing and installing all site work including installation of the following approximate quantities: 5,000 feet 8.0-inch IPS SDR21 PVC water pipeline; 200 feet 8.0-inch IPS DR11 poly bores; four (4) 8.0-inch gate valves; one (1) air release valves with PVC pits and curb stops; one (1) 1.0-inch flush blow-off valve; five (5) Gas/Oil/Salt Line verifications; 1 prefabricated meter vault; two (2) tie-ins to existing; four (4) 8.0-inch 22.5 and 90 degree MJ bends; tracer wire; excavation; backfill; engineered fill; compaction and pressure testing; disinfection, and all associated valves, fittings, and appurtenances; signage; gravel bedding; restoration and seeding. Alternate 2 to Contract No. 1.1 - General Construction with HDPE Open Cut Install: Construction generally consists of the lump sum price to furnish and install a 16.0-inch Cased Highway POLY Bore in lieu of the furnishment and installation of a 12.0-inch Cased Highway POLY Bore between station 1+25.80 and station 7+00.18 of the construction plan set. Alternate 2 to Contract No. 1.2 - General Construction with PVC Open Cut Install: Construction generally consists of the lump sum price to furnish and install a 16.0-inch Cased Highway POLY Bore in lieu of the furnishment and installation of a 12.0-inch Cased Highway POLY Bore between station 1+25.80 and station 7+00.18 of the construction plan set.
