Fairway Drive Culvert Rehabilitation and Dark Hollow Arch Bridge Rehabilitation

The project involves the rehabilitation of a stone masonry steel pipe arch culvert located on Fairway Drive and a stone masonry arch bridge on Dark Hollow Road. The contractor will be responsible for the following: 1. Sliplining the existing metal pipe arches. 2. Excavating, constructing underpinning and placing rock at the downstream concrete apron slab. 3. Repairing the existing stone masonry headwalls and wingwalls, including replacing stone and repointing of mortar joints. 4. Cleaning all exposed stone masonry surfaces of all headwalls and wingwalls. 5. Removing channel debris at upstream and downstream ends. Dark Hollow Arch Bridge Rehabilitation: 1. Removing all sediment and debris from the arch barrels and channel. 2. Constructing underpinning of stone masonry abutments, pier and wingwalls. 3. Resetting and repairing the concrete cap on Wing D. 4. Performing concrete repairs of parapet including epoxy injection crack seal at Wing A 5. Repairing the existing stone masonry parapets, spandrels, arch barrels and wingwalls including replacing stone and repointing of mortar joints. 6. Cleaning all exposed stone masonry surfaces of all parapets, spandrels and wingwalls 7. Installing guide rail and attaching guide rail transition to the existing stone masonry parapets. 8. Relocate the existing hazard clearance signs as needed.
