Construction of Concrete Sidewalk

The Town of Pittsboro is requesting bids for the construction of concrete sidewalk along Chatham Business Drive in Pittsboro, NC (Chatham County). The Contractor shall furnish labor, materials and equipment. The date of availability for this project is the date the Contractor begins work but not before the issued date of the Notice to Proceed. The date of completion for this contract is the date that is Sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after and including the date of availability The Town of Pittsboro, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the Department of Transportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21) issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, color or national origin.
