Description

The County of Volusia, Department of Public Works, Road & Bridge Division is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for the Gabordy Canal Stormwater Treatment Facility at 10th Street project is identified within the Mosquito Lagoon Reasonable Assurance Plan and is located in the New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater area. The project entails the installation of a nutrient removal treatment facility for base flow and roadway stormwater runoff that is conveyed by the Gabordy Canal prior to discharge into the Mosquito Lagoon. The project is co-located on the same parcel of land that was acquired for a stormwater treatment pond related to the County’s 10th Street Widening project that is currently under construction. The awarded vendor will be required to coordinate their work efforts with the contractor(s) for the 10th Street Widening project. All documents related to the 10th Street Widening project, ITB No. 19-B-163JD, are available via the web at http://www.volusia.org/purchasing. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings. Term: Total contract time of 540 days.
