Lighting and Stream Trap Upgrade at New Bridge Medical Center

The Scope of Work is as follows: A. EEM-1: The contractor shall remove the existing lamps for lighting fixtures throughout the interior of the hospital. The existing lamps shall be replaced with new lamps or retrofit kits as noted by the lineby-line spread sheet. Lamp replacement shall be limited to the rooms listed on the line-by-line and as referenced on the floor plans. Old lamps and ballasts shall be disposed of as a part of the project. 1. Provide an allowance for the replacement of existing light fixture ballasts with new, LED compatible ballasts for the new LED lamps. Ballast replacement is inclusive of the removal and disposal of the existing ballast, labor and material for the installation of the new ballast. B. EEM-2: The contractor shall provide lighting controls as noted on the line-by-line and the floor plans. New lighting control devices shall replace existing lighting control devices(i.e. wall mounted toggle switches) in kind, unless otherwise noted on the floor plans. Existing wire and box shall be used for new lighting control devices. Provide new conduit and wire for additional devices. 1. Provide an allowance for survey and tracing of existing wiring as needed for the installation of lighting controls
