Description

*As of February 08, 2023, project is currently under construction. Construction for this bid package started in October 2022. Project involves the site work to accommodate the construction of a new Approx. 250,000 s.f high school. Project also has supporting site amenities such as parking lots, sidewalks, utilities, sport fields, landscaping, etc.. This is a construction management project. Bids are to be for the following contract: A-1: Site Work Attention is called to construction schedule as detailed in the Bid Documents. Sealed bids shall be addressed to Indian River School District, Attn: Supervisor of Building and Grounds, Joe Booth. The outer envelope should clearly indicate: "Sussex Central High School Bid Pac A Project No. 2020-20, Company Name, Contract you are bidding, SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN." Questions should be directed to the Construction Manager, Richard Y. Johnson & Son, Inc. in writing only. Email questions too Attn: Jesse Dixon (jdixon@ryjson.com). A bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany each bid. Bid Security shall specify the Owner as the obligee. Owner: Indian River School District, 31 Hoiser Street Selbyville Delaware 19975 Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract.
