Description

The University plans to conduct a series of hydraulic stimulation and flowback operations in well 16A(78)-32, at locations shown in Figure 3 of Attachment A. The necessary water storage and disposal will use two groups of closed top, insulated, 500-bbl (21,000 gal) frac tanks located on two well sites and the drilling sumps on those same sites. Eight (8) tanks will be placed on the 16A(78)-32 site. A second group of six (6) tanks will be located on the 58-32 site, approximately 1,500 ft away by road and at 135 ft higher elevation. Water stored for injection use will be Milford culinary water delivered by truck. Produced water may contain small amounts of soluble polymers and particulates, and may be up to a temperature of 200°F.
