Description

Guardrail Improvements QUESTION DUE DATE: January 13, 2023 QUESTION DUE TIME: 10:00 A.M. (MT) All questions regarding this bid must be emailed to Les Brown, Purchasing Agent, at brownxld@larimer.org. Questions are due no later than the QUESTION DUE DATE & TIME referenced above. No questions will be accepted after the date and time referenced above. on-demand as-needed contract with a Contractor to perform guardrail installation, improvements, and repairs alongside county roads or on properties operated by Larimer County. Prices and terms must remain in effect until a contract has been executed Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the contractor's bid (Engineering Bid Form PN8102), without conditions, payable to Larimer County or your bid will be considered non-responsive and your bid will be rejected. The sample Bid Bond included in these bid documents should be used. Bid Guaranties may be held until the contract is awarded, provided the time from bid opening to contract award does not exceed 30 days. Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the Award Vendor's Contract price must be supplied prior to any work beginning. The Contractor will provide Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% for any project equal to or greater than $50,000.00 prior to any work beginning. The term of the agreement will be for one (1) year from the date the agreement is executed. The County, at its sole option, may offer to extend this Contract for up to FOUR (4) additional one-year terms. The extension option may be exercised providing satisfactory service is given, and must be mutually agreed upon in writing, by and between the County and the Award Vendor. Any annual agreed-upon cost increase or decrease must be documented in writing.
